RESTORATION

RESTORATION

Featured Restoration Project

This early twentieth century family heirloom arrived at jetwoodshop with a broken crown rail, broken arced leg stretchers, many loose joints, a finish in need of rejuvenation, and missing and poorly implemented non-original upholstery. Historical research is a favorite part of  restoration at jetwoodshop, but without a well defined family history or maker's marks to form a basis for investigation, the work focused on restoration of the chair and its finish prior to re-upholstery by the owner.
